A decision-first OSRS companion

ScapePath is an independent web app that turns your Old School RuneScape account into a personalized progression plan. Instead of generic wiki pages, it ranks bosses, money-making methods, skilling routes and gear upgrades against your stats, so every suggestion is one you can act on right now. It brings together a planner, recommendation engine, dashboard, quest tracking, gear and boss progression, skilling and money-making guides, calculators, and seasonal Skill of the Month events.

OSRS has thousands of hours of content and no shortage of reference material — but almost all of it is generic. A player staring at a boss list still has to cross-reference their own levels, gear and bank to work out what is actually worth their time. ScapePathwas built to close that gap: to replace “here’s everything” with “here’s your best next move, and why.”

Recommendations start from verified facts about your account and score each option against them. In practice that means:

• We read your current skills, combat stats and activity scores from the official OSRS Hiscores.
• Each boss, method or upgrade carries structured requirements (levels, quests, items) and outcomes (profit, XP rate, difficulty).
• The engine filters out what you can’t yet do and ranks the rest by how much it moves you toward your goals — balancing profit, difficulty and the requirements you’ve already met.
• Every recommendation shows its reasoning, so you can judge it rather than take it on faith.

The exact XP math uses the real OSRS experience table. Profit rates, XP per hour and time estimates are conservative, community-based estimates — planning aids, not promises.

When you link a character by its RuneScape name, ScapePathfetches that character’s public Hiscores entry — skill levels, experience and boss/activity scores. We take periodic snapshots so your dashboard, recommendations and progress tracking stay in sync with your real account. We only ever read public data, we never ask for your Jagex password, and you can unlink a character at any time.

Adventure XP (also called Journey XP) is ScapePath’s own progression layer, separate from your in-game experience. It measures how far you’ve come since you started using ScapePath, not how developed your account already is. When you link an account we record a baseline; from then on, verified milestones you cross — and daily check-ins on your adventure — earn Adventure XP and raise your Adventure level.

That’s why a freshly linked maxed main and a brand-new account both begin at Adventure Level 1: the profile rewards the journey you make with us, giving every player a fresh, motivating goal to build toward.

• Official OSRS Hiscores— the source of your linked character’s live stats.
• Community knowledge — boss mechanics, method rates, gear tiers and requirements are compiled and maintained from well-established community resources and player experience, then structured into the data that powers our tools.
• Live Grand Exchange prices — used to keep profit and cost estimates current.

Data is regularly reviewed and updated. It is unofficial and community-sourced rather than official Jagex data, so we always encourage you to sanity-check important decisions.
